The film Broken Embraces, by Pedro Almodovar, is nominated for BAFTA Awards British Film Academy in the category of Best Foreign Language Film, according to his production company El Deseo.
Almodovar’s film, starring Penelope Cruz, shares category with white tape, by Michael Haneke; Let me in, Tomas Alfredson, Coco. From rebellion to the legend of aion kinah, Anne Fontaine, and The Prophet, by Jacques Audiard.
The award of the British Film Academy equivalent to the American Academy, will be held on 21 February at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
Pedro Almodovar won the BAFTA and in 2003 for Talk to buy aion kinah, getting the award for Best Original Screenplay and Best Foreign Language film.
